Private Tour to Sines, Porto Covo, and Vila Nova de Milfontes

PRIVATE TOUR TO SINES, PORTO COVO AND VILA NOVA DE MILFONTES | Let yourself be surprised by the natural beauty of the Southwestern Coast of Alentejo, stroll in cozy and picturesque small villages, and discover the birthplace of Vasco da Gama.

On this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover the southern part of the Costa Alentejana. After driving through the fields of northwestern Alentejo, this tour will start as a time capsule as we visit the historic center and the Town Museum of Sines, the birthplace of Vasco Gama, the Portuguese greatest explorer.

Our next stop will be the small fishing village of Porto Covo, characterized by its white houses with blue stripes, located in the Natural Park of SW Alentejo. It is hard to imagine that in 1780 there were only four houses in this little paradise where time passes so slowly.

Next, we will drive south to Vila Nova de Milfontes, where we will have free time for lunch in one of the many trendy restaurants (not included), before a short walk to see the town's busiest streets fulfilling with life, and a last stop near the imposing São Clemente fortress to enjoy a breathtaking view over the mouth of the Mira River in the Atlantic.
